Make your Vision Board <3

As the year comes to a close and a new one begins, it’s the perfect time to create or refresh your Vision Board. Whether you’re a fan of this practice or not, I assure you, it’s worth exploring. There’s even a fascinating psychological explanation behind its effectiveness.

Visual stimuli can prime certain thoughts, emotions and behaviors. When individuals regularly view their vision boards, they may experience priming effects that activate related goals, values and motivations. This can lead to increased attention to goal-relevant opportunities and actions.

A vision board is a powerful tool for visualizing and setting goals. It often looks like a collage, featuring images, words, and affirmations that symbolise your aspirations, dreams, and the goals. In my opinion, there is a significant difference between manifestation and visualization, even though they share a lot of similarities. Both practices can complement each other, but their focus and approach set them apart. We could elaborate on that much deeper. Maybe it is too short to say it but manifestation happens before visualisation. With our thoughts we are opening our space for visualisation, or better to say, manifestation is bringing space for ideas, goals, more like adjusting your “belief system” — and with visualisation we are portraying all those goals and ideas that we want to achieve.

Here are few steps you can follow for making your Vision Board

  1. Define your life areas, such as: relationships, finance, career, personal development, health.

  2. Analyse and reflect your situations: past, present and future

  3. Set your clear goals

  4. Visualise your goals

  5. BELIEVE in what you want

  6. Live like they already happened

I hope I gave you enough reasons to start doing your vision board :)

xoxo,

Macaron
